Training a skill improves time but it's a diminishing return. The biggest lie people are tricked into believing in the game is that they need every skill trained. Q: But I want to be able to craft everything, won't I lose that?Ī: Absolutely Not. There is MASSIVE value in progressing past this point, you significantly increase your 'Great' proc rate which making pre-crafts vastly more tolerable! In addition to this you also have higher proc rates on everything else.

It's like a magic switch that turns off, at 1770 Mastery I still got 'some' commons.ġ771 NONE! (I repeat only on BPs you have 'Mastered'.) Well the biggest thing you'll notice is you no longer get 'Commons' on any BP you have Mastered!

If you can even get close to this, it's time to leave skill builds behind and go for mastery!

Lower levels I suggest focusing more on skill than mastery, but once you cross a threshold there is simply more to be gained by mastery than lost by skill. Until you are 40~, have all worker slots (8) unlocked, and have all Tier 3 Workers trained at least close to level 40 you may not benifit from this as much as you 'could'.
